Wir hatten früher auch mal Probleme mit REALTEK-Chipsatz. Nach Tausch klappte es bei uns auch.

Später erfuhr ich, daß REALTEK selbst auf dieses Problem hingewiesen hatte:

***If you use VIA motherboard with MVP3 chipset, according to VIA,s description, you may need to update VIA,s IRQ routing driver to correct VIA chipset,s IRQ routing problem. Otherwise, all PCI network adapter cannot run properly on win98 ***

Also gibt es ein IRQ-Problem unter Windows98 mit VIA-Boards.
